Rabbit polyclonal antibody to VAV1 (phospho Tyr174).
Specificity
This antibody recognises VAV1, also known as vav guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1 when phosphorylated at tyrosine 174. VAV1 is a member of the Vav family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs). GEFs are involved in the activation of small GTPases which play a role in many signaling pathways. Potential substrates for VAV1 activity include Rac1, Cdc42 RhoA and RhoG. VAV1 is phosphorylated on tyrosine 174 leads to conformational changes and activation of VAV1 (Katzav 2015).
