Specificity
This antibody recognises Pseudomonas aeruginosa a gram-negative, opportunistic pathogen, commonly found in soil and water. In humans, P. aeruginosa can infect the urinary tract, respiratory and gastrointestinal system, soft tissues, bones and joints leading to severe systemic infections of immunosuppressed patients in hospital.
