Pre-stained protein ladder. Covers the size range 10-175 kDa (Tris-glycine-SDS running buffer). Number of bands = 11. Blue stained bands at approximately 10, 40 and 90 kDa. Designed for monitoring SDS-PAGE separation and WB transfer efficiency. Thaw at room temperature or 37-40°C for a few minutes prior to use to dissolve precipitated solids. Do not boil. Do not heat, dilute, or add reducing agent before loading. Mix thoroughly.

Recommended Dilutions
Load 5 µl/well (mini-gels) or 10 µl/well (large gels). For WB load 2.5 µl and 5 µl, respectively.

The prestained protein ladder contains 11 proteins that resolve into sharp bands in the range 10-175 kDa. The apparent molecular weight of each protein was determined by calibration against an unstained protein ladder for each electrophoresis condition.
