Principle of Assay
Mouse IgG2a ELISA Kit is based on the quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique to measure concentration of mouse IgG2a in the samples. A monoclonal antibody specific for mouse IgG2a has been immobilized onto microwells. Standard, samples and HRP-linked detect antibody specific for IgG2a are pipetted into the wells and IgG2a present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing away any unbound substances, substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IgG2a bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
