Synthetic DNA aptamer to SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycoprotein [Aptamer K1] (Biotin).
Conjugate

Aptamer Resuspension
Resuspend to 100µM with 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, and 0.1mM EDTA.
Apatamer Refolding Conditions
Denatured at 94°C for 5 min and then cooled at room temperature for 20 min.
Apatmer Binding Conditions
Binding Buffer: 20mM HEPES Buffer, pH 7.4, with 150mM Sodium Chloride, 2mM Potassium Chloride, 2mM Magnesium Chloride, and 2mM Calcium Chloride. Binding Temperature: 25°C.

Development of high affinity broadly reactive aptamers for spike protein of multiple SARS-CoV-2 variants

Astratto:

We have developed broadly reactive aptamers against multiple variants by alternating the target between spike proteins from different SARS-CoV-2 variants during the selection process. In this process we have developed aptamers which can recognise all variants, from the original wild-type 'Wuhan' strain to Omicron, with high affinity (Kd values in the pM range).
