Rabbit polyclonal antibody to POLRMT.

This antibody recognises DNA-directed RNA polymerase, mitochondrial, also known as MtRPOL, MTRNAP, and APOLMT. POLRMT is a mitochondrial RNA polymerase absolutely required for expression of mitochondrial genes, and required for replication of the mitochondrial genome (Kühl et al. 2016). Evidence does not support the existence of a nuclear isoform of POLRMT, suggesting that its role is exclusively mitochondrial (Kühl et al. 2014).
