This antibody recognises IRAK2, also known as interleukin-1 receptor associated kinase-like 2. IRAK2 is one of the putative serine/threonine kinases that become associated with the interleukin-1 receptor (IL1R) upon stimulation. IRAK2 plays a critical role in proximal TLR signalling and in the activation of NF-kB.
