Note generali
Hamster anti Human EMR3 antibody, clone 3D7 recognizes human epidermal growth factor (EGF) module-containing mucin-like hormone receptor 3 (EMR3), a ~56 kDa member of the EGF-7 transmembrane (TM7) family of adhesion receptors. EMR3 is expressed at the cell surface as a heterodimer. EMR3 is predominantly expressed on granulocytes, and at lower levels on mature myeloid cells, monocytes and dendritic cells. EMR3 is absent on lymphocytes, haematopoietic stem cells and myeloid progenitors. EMR3 is up-regulated during late stages of neutrophil differentiation and is a marker for terminally differentiated cells (Matmati et al.2007).
