This antibody recognises defender of apoptotic cell death 1 (DAD1). DAD1 was discovered as a negative regulator of programmed cell death, and has since been identified as a subunit of the mammalian oligosaccharyltransferase complex (OCT). DAD1 is required for the function and structural integrity of the OCT.
