Immunofluorescent analysis of mouse hippocampus section stained using Anti-beta Synuclein Antibody [6A10] (A270558), at a dilution of 1:500, in green. The tissue was co-stained using Anti-68kDa Neurofilament Antibody (A270580), at a dilution of 1:5,000, in red. Nuclear DNA is visualised in blue using Hoechst staining. Following transcardial perfusion of the mouse with 4% paraformaldehyde, the brain was post-fixed for 24 hours, cut to 45 µm, and free-floating sections were stained using the above antibodies. The Anti-beta Synuclein Antibody [6A10] (A270558) detects protein concentrated in synaptic regions, while the Anti-68kDa Neurofilament Antibody (A270580) labels dendrites and axons of neuronal cells.
Figure 2: Western Blot - Anti-beta Synuclein Antibody [6A10] (A270558)
Western blot analysis of different tissue lysates using Anti-beta Synuclein Antibody [6A10] (A270558), at a dilution of 1:1,000, in green. The lanes contain samples of: [1] Protein standards, in red, [2] rat cortex [3] rat cerebellum, [4] mouse cortex, [5] mouse cerebellum, [6] cow cortex, and [7] cow cerebellum. The strong band at about 17 kDa corresponds to beta Synuclein protein.
