Rabbit polyclonal antibody to IL-2 (Biotin).
Specificity
This antibody recognises mouse Interleukin-2 (IL-2), a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which primarily acts on T lymphocytes, in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation.IL-2 stimulates the growth/differentiation of monocytes, macrophages, B lymphocytes, NK cells, and lymphokine activated killer cells which are used in experimental cancer therapy.

Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 0.5 ml of sterile Phosphate Buffered Saline containing 0.1% Bovine Serum Albumin. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Gently mix after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.

Storage
Lyophilized: Store at -20°C. Reconstituted: Store undiluted at -20°C, avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
