This antibody recognises interleukin-17 F, also known as cytokine ML-1. The IL-17 family consists of six proteins (IL-17A to IL-17F) which function as proinflammatory cytokines, important for defense against pathogens. The biotinylated Mouse anti Human interleukin-17F antibody, clone H02-4D7 (MCA6209B) can be used as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA with the purified Mouse anti Human interleukin-17F antibody, clone I08-5H8 (MCA6208GA) as the capture antibody.
