Mouse monoclonal [TSH-116] antibody to Thyroid Stimulating Hormone.
Specificity
This antibody reacts with human thyroid stimulating hormone (hTSH, thyrotropin), a glycoprotein hormone produced by the anterior pituitary gland cells in response to signals from the hypothalamus gland in the brain. The TSH-116 reacts with association constant 1.1 x 1011 l/mol. Following cross-reactivity expressed as binding of labelled hormone (% of total) was determined by solid phase RIA with excess of the antibody TSH-116: hTSH (78.9), hCG (20.3), hLH (23.2), hFSH (29.9).
