This antibody recognises ezrin, also called cytovillin, villin 2, Vil2 or p81. Ezrin is a member of the ezrin-moesin-radixin (ERM) family of proteins. Ezrin acts as a signalling intermediate between the cell membrane and the actin cytoskeleton.
