Specificity
This antibody recognises pig eotaxin 1, also known as chemokine ligand 11 (CCL11). Eotaxin 1 is produced by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, alveolar macrophages and eosinophils. CCL11 is involved in allergic reactions by inducing chemotaxis of white blood cells.
