Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Src (phospho Tyr419).
Specificity
This antibody recognises proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src, also known as SRC1, when phosphorylated at tyrosine 419. SRC belongs to the SRC family of protein tyrosine kinases that mediate signal transduction of specific receptor pathways. Phosphorylation residues in human SRC are commonly referred to and named according to the chicken SRC protein. Phosphorylation of SRC at tyrosine 419 (tyrosine 416 in chicken) in the activation loop is essential for its full activation (Roskoski 2005).

General Notes
Rabbit anti SRC (pTyr419) antibody recognizes proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src, also known as SRC1, when phosphorylated at tyrosine 419. SRC belongs to the SRC family of protein tyrosine kinases that mediate signal transduction of specific receptor pathways (Thomas and Brugge 1997). Phosphorylation residues in human SRC are commonly referred to and named according to the chicken SRC protein (Boggon and Eck 2004). Phosphorylation of SRC at tyrosine 419 (tyrosine 416 in chicken) in the activation loop is essential for its full activation (Roskoski 2005).
