This antibody recognises MAPK/ERK kinase 2 (MEK 2), also known as dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 2, MAP kinase kinase 2 (MAPKK 2) and ERK activator kinase 2, when phosphorylated at threonine 394.MEK 2 is a dual specificity protein kinase and a member of the MAP kinase family. MEK 2 plays a critical role in mitogen growth factor signal transduction.MEK 2 is phosphorylated at threonine 394 by CDK5.
