This kit provides a simple and easy assay for measuring lactate dehydrogenase in animal and plant tissues, cells, plasma, serum, and other biological fluids. In this assay, LDH reduces NAD to NADH, which then interacts with WST-8 to produce a colored product which can be measured at 450 nm.
