Rabbit polyclonal antibody to GSK3 beta (phospho Tyr216).
Spezifität
This antibody recognises GSK3 beta when phosphorylated at tyrosine 216. GSK3 is a member of the CMGC family of kinases. GSK3 comprises two isoforms, alpha and beta, with 85% total homology and 98% homology between kinase domains. GSK3 beta is phosphorylated at tyrosine 216 via autophosphorylation, Fyn and PYK2. Phosphorylation of GSK3 beta at tyrosine 216 activates GSK3 alpha leading to phosphorylation of downstream targets such as the insulin receptor and glucose-6-phosphate.
