This antibody recognises rat ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF)..Rat CNTF is a 22.7 kDa neuroregulatory cytokine which is found primarily in peripheral nerve tissue. CNTF promotes the survival and differentiation of neurons and other neuronal cell types.
Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% soidum azide is recommended. For functional studies do not add sodium azide.

Supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline.
Storage
Lyophilized: Store at -20°C. Reconstituted: Store undiluted at -20°C, avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
