This antibody recognises Rat immunoglobulin G. Sera from rabbits hyperimmunised with highly purified rat IgG was affinity purified on a rat IgG column. Digestion to F(ab')2 with pepsin was then performed, the resulting fragments were conjugated to horseradish peroxidase using the periodate method.Cross reactivity is observed with mouse IgG but may be blocked by the addition of 10% mouse serum.
Supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline with 0.01% Thiomersal.
Storage
Shipped at ambient temperature. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Short term (up to 4 weeks): store at 4°C. Long term: store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended.
