The biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent mobilization of intracellular calcium (calcium flux) with human neutrophils. Significant calcium mobilization is observed with 100 ng/ml (corresponding to a Specific Activity of 10,000 IU/mg) of recombinant human ENA-78.
