Rabbit polyclonal antibody to STAT6 (phospho Tyr641).
Specificity
This antibody recognises STAT6, also known as IL-4 Stat when phosphorylated at tyrosine 641. STAT6 is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. STATs reside in the cytosol until activated. Upon activation STATs dimerize and translocate to the nucleus where they exert their transcriptional effects. STAT6 is phosphorylated at tyrosine 641 by Janus associated kinases (JAKs) leading to dimerization and relocation to the nucleus.
