Rabbit polyclonal antibody to STAT5A (phospho Tyr694).
Specificity
This antibody recognises STAT5A, also known as signal transducer and activator of transcription 5A when phosphorylated at tyrosine 694. STAT5A is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. Members of the STAT family reside in the cytosol until activated. Upon activation, STATs dimerize and translocate to the nucleus where they exert their transcriptional effects. STAT5a is phosphorylated at tyrosine 694 by members of JAK family of kinases as well as receptor tyrosine kinases. Phosphorylation at tyrosine 694 is crucial for activation of STAT5a.

General Notes
Rabbit anti STAT5A (pTyr694) antibody recognizes STAT5A, also known as signal transducer and activator of transcription 5A when phosphorylated at tyrosine 694. STAT5A is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. Members of the STAT family reside in the cytosol until activated. Upon activation, STATs dimerize and translocate to the nucleus where they exert their transcriptional effects. STAT5a is phosphorylated at tyrosine 694 by members of JAK family of kinases as well as receptor tyrosine kinases (Coffer et al. 2000).
