Shipped at ambient temperature. Upon delivery aliquot and store at -20°C. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Short term (up to 4 weeks): store at 4°C. Long term: store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.

Rat IgG1 negative control, a rat monoclonal raised against horseradish peroxidase, is recommended for use as a negative control to assess the level of non-specific binding of rat IgG1 test antibodies to the surface of human and mouse cells in flow cytometry.Test results have shown that this antibody is also suitable for use as a negative control with porcine and canine cells.
