This antibody recognises CD107a, also known as lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein-1 (LAMP-1). CD107a is a type I membrane lysosomal protein involved in the fusion of lysosomes to phagosomes and is also implicated in tumor cell metastasis.
Appoximately 45 kDa in cell lysates and tissues.Rabbit anti CD107a antibody also appears to detect a modified form of CD107a (potentially glycosylated) at approximately 101 kDa.
