This antibody recognises bovine interleukin-1 beta (IL-1 beta). IL-1 beta is principally expressed by macrophages, and plays an important immunomodulatory role in the bovine immune response.recognises both native and recombinant bovine IL-1 beta. No detectable cross-reactivity was observed with human, mouse or rat IL-1 beta.
