Specificity
This antibody recognises rat interleukin-1 alpha. Rat IL-1 alpha is a 17.7kD cytokine, which is produced by macrophages.IL-1 alpha is chemotactic for leucocytes and also contributes to the inflammatory response by its interactions with several other cell types.
