Immunohistochemistry analysis of a formalin fixed paraffin embedded human cerebellum section with Anti-Iba1 Antibody (A333275) at a dilution of 1:10,000 detected in DAB (brown) following the ABC method. Counterstained with Hematoxylin (blue). The IBA1 antibody detects a typical network of microglial processes.

Western blot analysis using Anti-Iba1 Antibody (A333275) at a dilution of 1:1,000 (green). The lanes contain: [Lane 1] protein standard (red) and [Lane 2] rat spleen crude homogenate. The band at about 15kDa mark corresponds to IBA1 protein. IBA1 is a relatively minor protein of brain and is much more abundant in spleen, so the 15kDa band is less obvious in CNS lysates.
