Name
Anti-HLA B27 Antibody [HLA-ABC-m3] (FITC)
Description
Mouse monoclonal [HLA-ABC-m3] antibody to HLA B27 (FITC).
Specificity
This antibody recognises the HLA-B27 alloantigen and reacts with the peripheral blood lymphocytes of 47/47 individuals conventionally typed as HLA-B27 + and precipitates cell surface molecules of 43 and 12 kDa, corresponding to the HLA Class 1 heavy chain and beta 2 microglobulin.Scatchard affinity analysis shows that Mouse anti Human HLA B27 antibody, clone HLA-ABC-m3 has a higher affinity for HLA-B27 (9.7 x 108M-1) than for HLA B7 (9.5 x 107 M-1).Flow cytometry - subjects expected fluorescence intensity:Heterozygous HLA-B27+ = Strong.Homozygous HLA-B27+ = Strong.Heterozygous HLA-B7+ = Faint.Non B27, Non B7 = Negative.
