Recombinant Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl Lys18) Antibody [RM166] (A121236)

Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl Lys18) Antibody [RM166] specifically reacts to Histone H3 acetylated at Lysine 18 (K18ac). There is no cross reactivity with acetylated Lysine 4 (K4ac), Lysine 9 (K9ac), Lysine 14 (K14ac), Lysine 23 (K23ac), Lysine 27 (K27ac), Lysine 36 (K36ac), Lysine 56 (K56ac), Lysine 79 (K79ac), or Lysine 122 (K122) in Histone H3.

Western blot of acid extracts from HeLa cells untreated (-) or treated with sodium butyrate (+), using Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl Lys18) Antibody [RM166] at 0.5µg/ml, showed a band of Histone H3 acetylated Lysine 18 in treated HeLa cells.

Sandwich ELISA against acetylated Histone H3 at Lys18 using HeLa whole cell lysate, treated or untreated with Sodium Butyrate. 1µg/ml of Anti-pan Histone H3 Antibody [RM188] was used as the capture antibody and 2µg/ml of Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl Lys18) Antibody [RM166] (Biotin) was used as the detection antibody.

ChIP performed on HeLa cells with or without Sodium Butyrate treatment, using 5µg of Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl Lys18) Antibody [RM166]. Real-time PCR was performed using primers specific to the gene indicated.
