This antibody recognises FADD, also known as Fas-associated death domain protein, MORT1, growth-inhibiting gene 3 protein or mediator of receptor induced toxicity. FADD is a 23 kDa protein consisting of a C-terminal death domain and an N-terminal death effector domain. FADD is involved in forming the death-inducing signalling complex (DISC) during apoptosis.
