Anti-CNPase Antibody (A270543)

Immunofluorescent analysis of mouse striatum section stained with Anti-CNPase Antibody (A270543), at a dilution of 1:3,000, in green, and co-stained with Anti-NF-L Antibody (A85451), at a dilution of 1:5,000, in red. Nuclear DNA is visualised in blue using Hoechst staining. Following transcardial perfusion of the mouse with 4% paraformaldehyde, the brain was post-fixed for 24 hours, cut to 45 µm, and free-floating sections were stained with the above antibodies. Anti-CNPase Antibody (A270543) stains myelin sheath and the plasma membranes of oligodendrocytes; the myelin producing cells of the CNS. Anti-NF-L Antibody (A85451) labels axons of neuronal cells enclosed by the myelin.

Western blot analysis of different tissue lysates using Anti-CNPase Antibody (A270543), at a dilution of 1:5,000, in green. The lanes contain: [Lane 1] protein standard (red), [Lane 2] rat brain, [Lane 3] rat spinal cord, [Lane 4] mouse brain, [Lane 5] mouse spinal cord, [Lane 6] cow spinal cord, and [Lane 7] pig spinal cord. Bands at 46 kDa and 48 kDa correspond to the two major isotypes of CNP protein.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of a formalin fixed paraffin embedded human cerebellum section with Anti-CNPase Antibody (A270543) at a dilution of 1:2,000 detected with DAB (brown) using the Vector Elite ABC-HRP detection and reagents with citra buffer retrieval. Counterstained with Hematoxylin (blue). The CNP antibody labels myelin axonal sheathes in the granule cell layer and in the molecular layer at the top right.
