Anti-CD79b Antibody [HM79-11] (FITC)

Hamster monoclonal [HM79-11] antibody to CD79b (FITC).

This antibody recognises mouse CD79 beta, expressed by B cells as part of the B cell receptor complex (immunoglobulin and the CD79 alpha/beta heterodimer).Murine CD79 beta is expressed at the cell surface of pro-B cells prior to surface immunoglobulin, and is expressed throughout B cell differentiation.CD79 beta is a B cell specific marker, valuable for the detection of B cells at all maturation stages.

Flow Cytometry: Neat, Use 10µl of the suggested working dilution to label 10⁶ cells in 100µl. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind to cells expressing low affinity fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR (BUF041A/BUF041B).
