This antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope of CD1c, a 43 kDa type I glycoprotein associated with beta 2 Microglobulin. It is expressed on cortical thymocytes (strongly expressed), Langerhans cells, dendritic cells, B cells, and some T cells.
