This antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope of CD146, a 118 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on epithelial and endothelial cells, fibroblasts, multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells, melanoma cells, activated T cells, and activated keratinocytes.
