Rabbit polyclonal antibody to CCL21 (Biotin).

This antibody recognises human Exodus-2, otherwise known as CCL21, a 111 amino acid CC chemokine which, like CCL19 (small inducible cytokine A19), signals through the CCR7 receptor.Exodus-2 is expressed in the HEV and T cell rich areas of lymph nodes and Peyer’s patches, T cell areas of the spleen and by lymphatic endothelium of many organs, acting as a potent chemoattractant for thymocytes and T lymphocytes. Exodus-2 possesses characteristics of a homing molecule for lymphocytes to secondary lymphoid organs and has been shown to inhibit haematopoiesis.

Reconstitute with 0.5 ml of sterile Phosphate Buffered Saline containing 0.1% Bovine Serum Albumin. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Gently mix after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.

Supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline.

Lyophilized: Store at -20°C. Reconstituted: Store undiluted at -20°C, avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
