Western Blot - Anti-Aurora A Kinase Antibody [1A11] (A85397)

Western blot analysis of different cell lysates and recombinant protein solutions using Anti-Aurora A Kinase Antibody [1A11] (A85397). Left: cells were treated with 100ng/mL of nocodazol (a microtubule depolymerizing agent which induces cells to halt at G2/M phase) for 6 hours. The lanes contain: [Lane 1] protein standard, [Lane 2] HeLa, [Lane 3] canine A72 cells, [Lane 4] Equine NBL6 cells, and [Lane 5] murine KR158 cells. The antibody apparently does not recognize canine or equine aurora A, but does bind human and murine. Right: equal amounts of purified human recombinant aurora A, B, C as indicated. The Anti-Aurora A Kinase Antibody [1A11] (A85397) antibody reacts with the aurora A recombinant protein but not aurora B or C.

Western Blot - Anti-Aurora A Kinase Antibody [1A11] (A85397)

Left: Western analysis of Anti-Aurora Kinase A Antibody. Blot of HeLa cells treated with 100ng/ml nocodazole for 18 hours and was probed with Anti-Aurora Kinase A Antibody. Nocodazole is a microtubule depolymerizing agent which induces cells to halt at G2/M phase and also induces Aurora A expression. The Anti-Aurora Kinase A Antibody binds strongly and cleanly to a band at about 46 kDa. Right: Blot of recombinant full length human Aurora A, B and C proteins was probed with Anti-Aurora Kinase A Antibody. The antibody recognized only the Aurora A protein.
