This PAK2 (phospho Ser141) Cell Based ELISA Kit allows for the detection of PAK2 (phospho Ser141) and the effects that certain stimulation conditions have on PAK2 (phospho Ser141) expression in different cell lines. Qualitative determination of PAK2 (phospho Ser141) concentration is achieved by an indirect ELISA format. In essence, PAK2 (phospho Ser141) is captured by Anti-PAK2 (phospho Ser141) Antibodies while Dye 1-conjugated and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. Through this binding, the dye conjugated to the secondary antibody can emit light at a certain wavelength given proper excitation, hence allowing for a fluorometric detection method. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included to serve as an internal positive control in normalizing the target RFU values. Anti-PAK2 Antibody is also included for normalization purposes. The RFU values obtained for the non-phosphorylated target can be used to normalize the RFU value for the phosphorylated target.

Western blot analysis of extracts from HepG2 cells treated with Adriamycin 0.5uM 24h/Jurkat cells treated with PMA 125ng/ml 30', using Anti-PAK2 (phospho Ser141) Antibody.
Western Blot - PAK2 (phospho Ser141) Cell Based ELISA Kit (A103820)
The mouse monoclonal antibody to GAPDH is used as a positive control in PAK2 (phospho Ser141) Cell Based ELISA Kit. Anti-GAPDH Antibody was tested for specificity by western blot with tissue lysates from human, mouse, and rat.
