Principle of Assay
Human Transferrin ELISA Kit is based on the quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique to measure concentration of human TF in the samples. A monoclonal antibody specific for human TF has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells for the first incubation. After washing away any unbound substances, a HRP-linked detect antibody specific for TF is added to the wells. After washing, substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TF bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
