Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) Detection Fluorometric Assay Kit (A319771)

This kit provides a simple, sensitive, rapid ROS detection method. ROS detection is based on the fluorescent probe DCFH-DA. DCFH-DA is a cell-permeable sensitive probe used to detect intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS). This probe can pass through the cell membrane and can be hydrolyzed into DCFH by esterases within the cell. DCFH is not fluorescencent and cannot pass through the cell membrane. The probe is oxidated by ROS to produce the fluorescent DCF. The fluorescent can be detected by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy , and accordingly the level of cellular reactive oxygen species can be analyzed.
