Caspase 6 Assay Kit (Colorimetric) is based on the hydrolysis of the peptide substrate Ac-VEID-pNA (acetyl-Val-Glu-Ilel-Asp p-nitroanilide) by caspase 6, resulting in the release of the p-nitroaniline (pNA), which can be quantified using a spectrophotometer or a microtiter plate reader at 405 nm.
