The antibody recognizes human CRP, an 117 kDa acute phase protein; it recognizes antigen both in the presence and in the absence (samples containing EDTA) of Ca2+.

ELISA: This antibody has been tested as the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of human C-Reactive Protein in combination with the antibody C5 (cat. no. 11-480-C100).
