Immunofluorescent analysis of cortical neuron-glial cell culture from E20 rat stained with Anti-Ankyrin 3 Antibody (A104313), at a dilution of 1:2,000, in green, and co-stained with Anti-NeuN Antibody [1B7] (A85405), at a dilution of 1:2,000, in red. The blue is Hoechst staining of nuclear DNA. Anti-Ankyrin 3 Antibody (A104313) stains the axonal initial segments while Anti-NeuN Antibody [1B7] (A85405) reveals perikarya and nuclei of neurons.
Western blot analysis of different tissue and cell lysates using Anti-Ankyrin 3 Antibody (A104313), at a dilution of 1:3,000, in green. The lanes contain: [Lanes 1 and 6] protein standard, [Lane 2] rat brain, [Lane 3] cow cortex, [Lane 4] HEK293 cells, [Lane 5] COS-1 cells, [Lane 7] rat cortex, [Lane 8] rat cortex membrane enriched fraction, [Lane 9] mouse cortex, and [Lane 10] mouse cortex membrane enriched fraction. Bands at 60-190kDa represent Ankyrin 3 splice variants and proteolytic fragments. Larger Ankyrin 3 isoforms of 270kDa and 480kDa can be seen on longer exposure of the blots.
