Rabbit polyclonal antibody to AKT1 (phospho Thr308).
Specificity
This antibody recognises AKT1, also known as RAC-alpha serine/threonine-protein kinase, protein kinase B alpha or Proto-oncogene c-Akt, when phosphorylated at threonine 308. AKT1 is a 480 amino acid ~48 kDa protein kinase forming part of the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, known to regulate cell growth, proliferation and survival. Phosphorylation of threonine 308 and serine 473 are required for full activation of AKT1.
