Anti-CD48 Antibody [OX-78] (PE)

Rat monoclonal [OX-78] antibody to CD48 (PE).

This antibody recognises mouse CD48 antigen, also known as BCM1 surface antigen, BLAST-1, HM48-1, MRC OX-45 surface antigen, SLAM family member 2. CD48 is a 195 amino acid GPI anchored membrane glycoprotein with an additional 22 amino acid signal peptide and a 23 amino acid propeptide region cleaved in the mature form.Rat anti Mouse CD48 antibody, clone OX-78 labels mouse thymocytes, B and T cells and macrophages. CD48 is a ligand for the mouse CD2 cell surface antigen.

Flow Cytometry: Neat - 1:5, Use 10µl of the suggested working dilution to label 10⁶ cells in 100µl. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity Fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR ( BUF041A/B).
